I am writing to provide technical feedback regarding the installation of the Sputhe Positrac system on my 2009 FXDF (Fat Bob). As an advocate for mechanical integrity over "marketing-spec" builds, I wanted to confirm that your hardware has successfully resolved the kinematic deficits inherent in the Dyna’s factory under-constrained uniaxial mounting.
The 2006+ Dyna frame, with its high-mass forged steering head and heavy-wall backbone, provides an excellent foundation, but the factory’s omission of lateral tie-links, effectively ignoring the principles laid out in Buell’s Patent '423 rendered the chassis potentially unstable at high speeds. By retrofitting your front and rear lateral stabilizers alongside new isolators, I have finally achieved a statistically determinate tri-axial constraint. The parasitic lateral DOF (yaw) has been eliminated, and the rear wheel now tracks co-planar with the front, as engineering logic dictates.
To complement the chassis stabilization, I have addressed the volumetric efficiency and thermodynamic management of the 96ci powertrain. The bike is currently running a comprehensive Stage 1 setup:
Induction/Breather: DK Customs 636v with a K&N intake, utilizing an external breather system to ensure the intake tract remains free of crankcase oil mist and carbon-inducing blow-by.
Exhaust: Thrashin AR 2-into-1, optimizing scavenging and exhaust gas velocity.
Calibration: Dynojet PV4 with a custom map specifically tuned to manage the improved airflow and maintain stoichiometric stability across the revised power band.
The combination of a stabilized chassis and a Stage 1 tune that respects the machine’s mechanical limits has transformed the FXDF. The motorcycle finally handles with the precision that its forged components promised but the factory failed to deliver.

Let me start by saying the Lady that answered the phone was instrumental in the purchase of the Sputhe stabilizer. I ordered the stabilizer on Thursday and received it on Saturday of the same week. I'm the owner of a New to me 2017 Dyna Low rider with very low miles (1323 miles) at first ride I found it dangerous to ride due to instability. I replaced the new old hard tires and front motor mount in hopes that was the cause of the scary unstable ride (it helped 85 %) but still not quite right!! Upon receiving the stabilizers and reading the instructions I installed rear and front units. I was able to install the rear unit without having to remove the rear tire or move the brake reservoir for the rear brake, but your results may vary based on different years. After installation I noticed immediately the bike was much more confident inspiring, it tracked straight and no longer followed grooves or wondered on the road. I'm 72 years old and have 57 years of riding. If you follow the instructions to the letter, you should have similar results... Thanks, Sputhe for making my bike a joy to ride. Happy Customer.... Just got back from first ride after fitting Sputhe Positrac to my 2000 Dyna Superglide. Best aftermarket upgrade I have ever done and easily best bang for bucks by a mile, no noticeable increase in vibration and rides so much better and tracks true and predicably.

I was finally able to get the bike out and wow what a difference the stabilizer links make! On acceleration it doesn't feel like it's trying to kick me off any more plus the high end speed issues are gone and I can also notice a difference at low speeds. Thanks for making a great product!

Hi, l was just looking over my 04 dyna. l installed the stabilizers a few years ago and was thinking to myself, who supplied those, oh yea Sputhe. anyway the bike went thru a couple of wrecks, got patched up and still goes like crazy. the mounts gave out and were replaced when l put on the stabilizers and haven't budged since. the bike used to piss me off no end and l threatened to toss it in a ditch but not since it got stabilizers. l wouldn't have another rubber mount bike without the stabilizers.
