7-Step Recipe for a RED HOT 100 Cubic Inch Sputhe FATVO Engine

  1. Start with a Sputhe FATVO crankcase.
  2.  Add stock Evo 4.25” stroke flywheels.
  3.  Add Sputhe 3 7/8” forged pistons.
  4. Top with Twin Cam heads and cylinders.
  5. Cam and carburate to taste.
  6. Install in any chassis designed for an Evolution engine.
  7. TURN UP THE HEAT.

The basic concept of our Sputhe Fatvo engine is to utilize all the bottom end components of the Evo engine and all the top end components of the Twin Cam engine, all bolting together to build a 100 cubic inch engine.

Sputhe celebrates our twenty-second year of manufacturing High Performance Crankcases with our new for 2005, fourth generation Fatvo engine.

The fourth generation Fatvo crankcase is cast by a direct gating process from a special aluminum alloy with high percentages of silicon and copper.  This superior material is then subjected to a three stage heat-treating, quenching and stress relieving process.  The crankcase is then fully CNC machined in-house, including the left case face and deck perimeters.

The fourth generation Sputhe Fatvo case incorporates all of the best features of our big bore Evolution case plus the technological improvements we have developed over the past four years refining our Fatvo engine.

Sputhe has produced high-performance V Twin crankcases since 1982.  Current Sputhe Big Twin crankcases embody all the technological subtleties learned from our earlier crankcases as well as incorporating the best design features of the other crankcases currently on the market.  Sputhe crankcases have a combination of features not available from any other manufacturer.
